Yellow Tea belong to the lightly fermented tea type. Process similar to Green Tea but during drying process, additional step of 'Braised' been included in order for tea leave chlorophyll to be oxidized. 'Braised' is an important process in the making of Yellow Tea. After sun dried, leaves twisting, tea leaves are wrap up with paper or mount together covered with damp cloth, it may take couple of minutes or hours before the tea leave are naturally oxidized, causing the tea leave to turn yellow.
5-7 gm of tea leave, 85 degree warm water.
Wash tea before drinking, 1st brew - 20 seconds and can continue for another 5-6 brews.
Tea Leaves are fat and strong looking with white 'hair' coating. Tea colour - auburnish yellow. Tea is yellow bright, pine smoky flavor, sweet and brisk.
